Chloride and Sulfate
ion content
A reliable method for identifying chemical agents that can affect concrete durability

LAB TESTING
Essai réalisé en laboratoire à l'aide d'outils adaptés et selon des procédures contrôlées et suivant les normes NBN EN 14629 (chlorures) et NBN B 15-250 (sulfates), afin de garantir des résultats fiables et exploitables.

TEST ON CONCRETE
A test carried out exclusively on concrete to assess its condition and determine its chemical properties.

CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
Testing is carried out directly on the sample to characterise its chemical properties and assess the material’s durability.
Why carry out chloride and sulfate ion content analysis?
- Allows the accurate, reliable, and controlled quantification of chloride ion or sulphate content in concrete or cement paste from core samples previously extracted on site.
- Allows the identification of contaminants that may promote reinforcement corrosion or trigger deterioration mechanisms within the concrete.
- Can easily be combined with other laboratory tests to provide a comprehensive understanding of the extracted sample.
