Reinforcement scanning (pachometer)
A way to locate reinforcement without damaging the structure

IN-SITU TESTING
Test carried out on site using appropriate equipment and standardised procedures to ensure reliable and actionable results.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE
Localized impact on the structure. The size, number, and location of core samples or boreholes can be adjusted to minimise their impact on the structure.

MECHANICAL ANALYSIS
Measurements obtained using specialised instruments to characterise the mechanical properties of materials under actual site conditions.
Why perform a pachometer test?
- Allows the rapid and non-destructive detection of reinforcement within concrete elements, accurately identifying the location and cover depth of embedded steel.
- Provides valuable additional information on concrete cover depth and reinforcement arrangement.
- Can easily be combined with non-destructive testing methods to provide a comprehensive understanding of the inspected structure.
