Reinforcement scanning (pachometer)
A way to locate reinforcement without damaging the structure

IN-SITU TESTING
Test carried out on site using appropriate equipment and standardised procedures to ensure reliable and actionable results.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE
Localized impact on the structure. The size, number, and location of core samples or boreholes can be adjusted to minimise their impact on the structure.

GEOMETRIC DATA
Indirect survey of the geometric characteristics and composition of the investigated element.
Why perform a pachometer test?
- Allows the rapid and non-destructive detection of reinforcement within concrete elements, accurately identifying the location of embedded steel without damaging the structure.
- Provides a reliable indication of reinforcement bar diameters and concrete cover depths.
- Can easily be combined with other destructive or non-destructive testing methods to provide a comprehensive understanding of the inspected structure.
